A small-town girl, Jacqueline was born and raised in the Hamlet of Wooler in the east end of Northumberland County. A firecracker from the start, Jacqueline spent the better part of her youth involved in human rights advocacy initiatives. Her passion and determination to lobby for the rights of her peers defined her youth and even led to her speaking at the United Nations.
At 23, after buying her first home, Jacqueline wanted to combine her newfound love of real estate with her passion for advocacy. Jacqueline felt real estate was very “sales based”, but by leveraging her background and focusing on customer experience, she turned the typical “sales' approach on its head and carved a path of her own. “My personal mantra has always been “be the change,” and I intended to be just that.”
Fifteen years later, Jacqueline continually shatters real estate records, not only creating Northumberland’s #1 Real Estate Team but is also one of the top agents in Canada!
After calling Cobourg home for 15 years, Jacqueline moved to the Hamlet of Grafton. It was time to return to her roots and give her family the same small-town experience she had growing up.
Jacqueline’s sons, Robert and Elijah, both attend Grafton Public School and enjoy exploring the outdoors and the creatures they find. Rounding out the family is Peppa (the dog with lots of spirit), Georgie (the rescue cat that weaselled its way into their hearts & home), and the newest addition Stella (Momma’s spunky sidekick).
Known for her love of pearls and real estate, Jacqueline has a unique collection of both! From Multiplex properties, a managed forest, and even an 1800’s log cottage that she co-owns with her sister. Her personal experience regularly comes into play when guiding clients through complex sales and purchases!

Affectionately known as our in-house “Marketing Guru”, Megan has been in the marketing industry for over 14 years. She specializes in social media and ensures that our clients’ homes gain maximum exposure. Recognized throughout the industry, Megan is known for her innovative marketing campaigns and exceptional execution of all the details.
Growing up in and around Toronto, Megan spent summers and holidays at her grandparent's home on Rice Lake, just outside Harwood. When it came time to buy her first house, she knew Northumberland was the place she wanted to call home. Megan was a pioneer of the multi-generational living trend of co-owning a home in partnership with her mother (who we all affectionately know as Dobby). Her innovative path to homeownership is now a popular and common practice! Megan now has her sights on her next goal of investment property!
A fierce supporter of all things local, she enjoys using her marketing background to help spread the word on all the fantastic businesses and artisanal products Northumberland has to offer.
Fun fact: Megan and Jacqueline first met when Jacqueline sold her Colborne home. Megan will forever hold a chance encounter with a sales postcard as the beginning of her amazing adventure with Team Pennington.
If you are a Northumberland resident, you may already know Laurie! She has been a resident of the Cobourg area for over 30 years and brings strong ties to the community through her involvement with the rotary club, the chamber, and the hockey community.
After running her own business in the automotive industry for two decades, Laurie decided it was time to forge a new path and joined the Team in 2021. In addition to having been a successful small business owner, Laurie is a seasoned commercial and residential real estate investor.
Altogether, she brings a wealth of knowledge to the Team and supports our clients by going above and beyond to deliver the unexpected. In her spare time, Laurie loves to walk and experience the great outdoors.
Although he may be a newer member of “Team Pennington”, Greg has been working behind the scenes for many years, managing the financial side of the business and keeping Jacqueline fueled and fed as her right-hand man! Many of our clients will also recognize him installing signs (he takes a lot of pride in keeping those posts looking spiffy). For the past 15 years, Greg has worked in the financial services industry, most recently as an Associate Vice-President in Risk Management at a ‘Big 5’ Canadian bank. Despite working on Bay Street, Greg always remembered where he started: as a teller in a small town and the importance of daily customer service moments. In addition to managing the behind-the-scenes financial side of the team, “Gopher” Greg, as we often refer to him, is always there to help our clients and team by ensuring all the little (and sometimes unexpected) details are taken care of. Greg grew up in Peterborough and obtained his Bachelor of Business from Trent University. He moved to Cobourg and bought his first home after meeting a spunky local Realtor, Jacqueline. Over 11 years later, that’s still the best investment he’s ever made!
