Rice Lake

Located just north of Cobourg and within an hour of the GTA, Rice Lake is the perfect spot for those looking to be on the water, with a cottage or year-round home. Part of the Trent-Severn Waterway, Rice Lake is 28 Kilometers long and 5 KMs wide. Named for the wild rice which grew in it, Rice Lake is now recognized for its recreational and sport fisheries. The village of Bewdley sits on the west end of the lake, and the town of Hastings sits on the east. Other communities around the lake include Roseneath, Gores Landing, Keene and Harwood.
